STEP 4: Milk foam on Heylo
Now it's time to make latte art! Watch the video where Lindy shows how to make perfect milk foam on the Heylo.
To make latte art, you need milk with microfoam.
Microfoam is thinner than thick milk foam, but thicker than regular milk. Unlike thick milk foam, there are no visible bubbles in microfoam. In microfoam, the bubbles are so small that you cannot distinguish them from each other.
With the milk module you can easily switch between different settings in terms of temperature, type of milk and amount of foam.
Listen to Lindy talk about how to make milk foam with Heylo's milk module

Make perfect milk froth - Step-by-step
- In the menu you choose the milk you want in your coffee.
- On the display you choose how you want your milk foam to be. There are both pre-installed recipes, but you can also set the temperature and amount of foam yourself if you wish.
- Place a milk jug under the milk nozzle.
- Press the “start” button.
- The Heylo automatically dispenses the steamed milk into the jug.
- Now you can grab your espresso and you're ready to make latte art.
Enjoy!
