Are You Our Next Intern?

At CleverCoffee, coffee, accountability and transparency are the holy trinity. There is no point in wanting to be the best in the world if we do not also strive to be the best for the world. We must be sharp in conveying the many (many!) stories, so that we can continue to make a difference for customers, coffee farmers and the planet.

That is why we have created an internship position for you who study communication, media science, information science or something completely different (that rhymes with communication). Do you have the courage to throw yourself into an internship in a company where taking responsibility for both people & planet is part of the foundation? Then we might have just the right internship for you.

What do we expect from you?

You will be part of a team of 10 employees who are based in our roastery in Fillerup by Odder on a daily basis. Don't worry; we carpool from Aarhus every day.

Here we have both production and offices, and we help each other to make every day run smoothly.

You are the right communication intern if you can recognise these skills in yourself:

1. You express yourself effortlessly both in writing and orally. And that competence comes into play when you have to write the first draft (in English) of a newsletter, pass on information to colleagues or adapt an offer to a business customer. It may also be that you are a god-given copywriter, but this is not a requirement.
2. You are curious and want to learn. Even if you have to learn something completely new from time to time. Because we always have both large and small tasks that need to be solved. Some days we bring out the camera and create graphic designs – other days it's editing information in our webshop.
3. You're pretty comfortable digitally and preferably socially. And can navigate social media without getting sweaty palms when you hear terms like 'organic reach' or 'content plan'.

What can you expect as an intern with us?

Let's just get this out of the way right away. You are going to make coffee. Not because you're an intern but because you end up in a nerdy coffee club. In return, you can safely count on your colleagues making coffee for you as well. We value that you are part of the team on an equal footing with the rest of us. At CleverCoffee, we work at the crossroads between coffee, responsibility and sustainability. Therefore, you cannot possibly spend time here without learning something new within those very disciplines.

With us, you will get hands-on experience and your tasks and their results make a big difference to being able to achieve the things we want in our company.

A practical detail or three

We are flexible with the timing of the internship in relation to the various study programmes. The starting point is 37 hours per week – but we are also flexible if, for example, you want a fixed study day per week. There is daily carpooling from Aarhus to Fillerup and a home working day is also possible if the circumstances call for it.
