STEP 3: Cleaning and maintenance of 3TEMP PULS

Proper cleaning is very important for the life of the coffee maker - but certainly also for the taste of the coffee!

You should complete this cleaning procedure every day. We recommend doing it at the end of the day and letting the coffee container soak overnight.

Step-by-step

  • Make sure your filter basket is clean and tidy. The filter basket is made of plastic, so it can go directly into the dishwasher.
  • Wipe the brewing head at the top of the machine with a damp cloth or a cleaning product such as WIPZ.
  • A typical source of bad coffee taste is a dirty dispenser. Make sure to keep it completely clean and shiny inside.
  • For daily cleaning, it is usually sufficient to fill the dispenser with boiling water from the coffee maker.
  • Start brewing on the coffee machine, but without coffee in the filter, so that you just fill the dispenser with boiling water.
  • Rinse it off and it's ready to brew the next day.
  • We recommend that you clean it once a week with a cleaning product such as TABZ from Urnex.
  • Place a TABZ from Urnex (or equivalent) into the dispenser.
  • Start brewing on the coffee machine, but without coffee in the filter, so that you just fill the dispenser with boiling water.
  • Let the dispenser soak for at least a few hours - but preferably overnight.
  • Rinse it a few times. Make sure all the water and soap has come out and then it's ready for a new brew.

Service and maintenance

The machine is easy to service and keep running. It is connected online, so both us in the roastery and technicians at the factory in Sweden can see how the machine is doing. This means we can pinpoint exactly if something is not as it should be.

If you still have problems with your machine, you are always welcome to call or write to us and we will look into it.
