But our coffee is not only carbon neutral – it is net-zero.

The net-zero stamp signifies that the coffee has a carbon reduction of +90%. And now you are probably wondering what the real difference is between net-zero and carbon neutral. That's understandable.

So here it is: Products that are net-zero can also call themselves carbon neutral. But products that are carbon neutral cannot necessarily be called net-zero.

This is because you do not need to reduce your carbon emissions to become carbon neutral. You can achieve carbon neutrality just by buying carbon credits that cover the carbon you emit during production.

Net-zero, on the other hand, means that you have made changes to your production and reduced the actual amount of carbon it takes to produce your product. By more than 90%!

Fully automatic espresso machines are a popular coffee solution, but we're also not afraid to tell you that it's also the most power-hungry solution you can choose.

In fact, the emissions from brewing on a fully automatic espresso machine are TWICE as high as brewing with a boilerless filter coffee machine from 3TEMP.

With a boilerless solution, huge savings can therefore be made on power consumption.

There is not yet a fully automatic boilerless espresso machine that can deliver coffee at a level we are satisfied with. But! We actually provide a hybrid espresso machine solution with Heylo which is boilerless. It is more hands-on than a fully automatic espresso machine but still an absolutely user-friendly coffee machine for the office.
